Privacy
Visitors
You do not need an account to read the site. We set no advertising or tracking cookies. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address for security and to make the site work.
Your account
You log in with a link sent by e-mail; we hold no password of yours. We keep your e-mail address and, if you fill it in, the name your contributions are credited to. Your e-mail address never appears on the site. Accounts and the database run on Supabase.
What you send in
With a contribution (a score, a photo, a logo) we keep what you sent, when, and the source you gave. Nothing goes on the site before an admin has reviewed it. Your account page lists everything you sent, with its status and, if rejected, the reason. With each contribution you choose: anonymous (the default) or with the name from your account. If you choose your name, it appears with the source on the site once approved.
To prevent abuse there is a daily limit and a limit on how many contributions can be under review at once.
Photos and the people in them
Only upload photos you hold the rights to. If someone is recognisable and does not want the photo on the site, we take it offline after a removal request. A minor who is recognisable and central in the picture is only published with a parent's consent.
Are you in the archive yourself?
The archive names players, coaches and referees as they appeared in newspapers, federation records and other public sources. We do so because it belongs to the history of the sport (legitimate interest and archiving in the public interest, articles 6 and 89 GDPR). We show a date or place of birth only when it is already widely known.
Would you rather not be on the site? You can object; we weigh every request, and for the lower leagues and youth level we remove your name without further questions.
Having your data removed
You can delete your account yourself on your account page. Your account and e-mail address are then gone at once, as is anything still under review or rejected. Photos under a protected licence go offline.
Photos you shared under an open licence (CC BY) stay, credited to your name, because that licence cannot be withdrawn. If you want that credit removed too, or a photo taken offline after all, send a removal request.
