We look at every request ourselves; nothing disappears automatically. If you played, coached or refereed in the lower leagues or at youth level, we remove your name without further questions. Results then show “player” instead of your name.

At the top level (Eredivisie, cup, European cups, the national team and the All Star Gala) names and results belong to the public history of the sport. As a rule we keep them. On request we do remove extra details, such as a date or place of birth, or a photo.

We want to be sure a request comes from the person concerned (or a parent or guardian). After sending it you get an email to confirm your address, and we may ask you a check question by email. We never ask for a copy of an ID. Once your request is accepted it is applied across the whole site within a day, and we email you about it.
